Had another shoot with musician Tomb Throne this weekend.  This one was more just for me and letting me be creative and experiment with lighting and poses.  Been trying to get back to some of my earlier roots from when I started in photography 20 years ago. (Click the personal work link at the top of the page if you want to see older work) I have to say I really enjoyed this shoot and felt some of my old self returning.  Sometimes it can be so freeing not to have an exact end goal or client you are creating images for, having the freedom just to create art is amazing! 
 

Here is the first one I edited.  I know this won't be everyone's cup of tea. :)

So I have been out for the count most of the month due to a nasty ear infection. I did attend a photographers meet-up on Saturday night where I took these two portraits below.  

Took my camera to the repair shop yesterday for a good cleaning and I have a new light to test when the camera is back from the shop.  I can't wait to test this new light out and show you the results!

Did some work in the studio with some other photographers on Saturday night.  Worked on taking some Christmas images with blurry(bokeh) backgrounds.  Even did some where I turned the background circles into to shapes(all done in camera) see bottom image for example. Ended up getting a few really nice ones that I will use for stock photography.
