Sometimes there are some amazing innovations in photography.  I came across both of these in the last week and I was in awe. 

First up is a Marmalade which is a group that invented a system called Spike that really takes high speed photography to a new level.  I am going to be on the look out for this kind of filming when I am watching commercials on TV. Check out this video http://vimeo.com/43455552

Next is two guys who did a kickstarter project to start production on Pixelstick.  Pixelstick is a new way to do light painting(using flash light with long exposures in the old days) in camera and it takes full advantage of computer programing.  Some pretty amazing results when you watch the video.  Good to see they raised way above their goal so looks like they might have a hit on their hands.
